Queen Elizabeth NP was established in 1952, it’s one of the three oldest national parks with an area of 2000 square kilometers, (770 square miles) of grass Savannah, open bush country, lowland rain forest, wetlands, rivers, and lakes. You will be in line to see big numbers of antelopes, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, among others during game drives through the park and on a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which bisects the park. The park is also home to Climbing lions that are found in the Ishasha Sector, Chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge and also various birds and monkeys in the Maramagambo forest.
Early in the morning you will be picked from you favorable location around Kampala then drive to to Ishasha the area is also home to Queen Elizabeth,s famous tree-climbing lions which have developed a surprising tendency. once we get there in the afternoon we check in the hotel then after go for game drive for few hours, in the evening come back to the hotel and prepare for the next long day.
Early in the morning after breakfast we will again enjoy the game drive in Queen Elizabeth NP for better pictures before it gets hot and take a boat trip where we will watch a hundreds of hippos at a point of view, buffalo, water buck, elephant and sometimes even lions and leopards coming to drink at the water’s edge.
Drive back to Kampala where we will make a stop at Walumbe pits the natural made holes.
